Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar are fida over each other

Kaif. But there is one more pair in the film to watch out for - a

in the form of
Nana Patekar (who plays Uday Shetty) and Anil Kapoor (Majanoo Bhai in the film).
Yes this unusual pair will scare you, make you laugh and also invite you to
attend their younger sister's wedding, this Friday.
We met
this interesting duo, who is touted as the Jay-and-Veeru like

of Anees Bazmi's

in Pune. Nana Patekar is actually recuperating from his leg injury, and it was a
sweet gesture on Anil's part to pay him a get-well-soon visit as well as promote
the film.
The
first thing that struck us about the two powerful actors is that they are so
involved with their characters still that we thought we were interviewing Uday
Shetty and Majnoo Bhai in person.
They claim
to love each other like real brothers and enjoy each other's company too. "Yes,
it was fun working together. We have come together after exactly 19 years. We
didn't work all this while but were constantly in touch. We've watched each
other's films; have had long chats on phone. I used to call all my friends
Jackie, Anil, Chintu (Rishi Kapoor) Boney and Shashilal Nair home and cook for
them." says Nana Patekar.
Ask Anil
Kapoor about his favorite dish made by Nana, and he quickly replies "Mutton,
Kheema and Chiken. He is not only a good actor but an amazing cook as well,"
says AK in appreciation. He continues, "I have worked with actresses like
Madhuri and Sridevi, but my screen pairing opposite Nana is amazing. Believe me
there's no chemistry between Nana and Mallika, the only couple to watch out for
in

me."
Nana
feels Anil is still the same loving person as he was 19 years ago. But Anil
doesn't think similarly about Nana. "He is not the same Nana, he has changed.
Earlier he couldn't dance but now you can see him shaking a leg with Mallika
Sherawat. He speaks fluent English. Have you seen the way he looks? He is
looking more handsome. Look at his style. If I've felt complexed by anyone's
look in any of my films, then it's Nana's. He has got that amazing South Indian
Bond look in this film."
So
did friend Feroz Khan feel left out with all this Anil-Nana bonding. "Not at
all. He is one of the gang," says Nana, "He plays a character called RDX in the
movie, it was a treat working with Feroz. He used to treat us everyday. He is a
kid by heart, and when it comes to
masti
,
all of us used to become kids and Feroz used to be the youngest kid on the sets.
When it comes to caring, he is the father of
all."
Welcome
is a romantic comedy, with a lot of complex characters who come together and the
situations are hilarious. "There are lots of complex characters and complexities
in relations in the film, except our (Nana's and mine) relationship, so please
don't misunderstand" quips Anil Kapoor.
